On July 6th, Zhejiang VISTAFORMedical Equipment Co., Ltd. started construction at China Gene Medicine Valley and signed a cooperation investment agreement with Meihao Medical Group Co., Ltd. It is reported that Zhuo Shiyou is the first and currently the only enterprise in Wenzhou to obtain registration approval for implantable medical devices of Class III, filling the gap in local production, research and development, and qualification of implantable medical device products, as well as filling the gap in the high-end dental implant field in China. It is expected that the sales revenue will exceed 80 million yuan this year and the output value will reach 200 million yuan next year.
Zhejiang VISTAFOR Medical Equipment Co., Ltd. was founded in 2012, integrating research and development, design, production, and sales. Its product sales cover more than 50 countries and regions including North America, Europe, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia. It has multiple Class III, Class II, and Class I registrations and registrations related to oral implants, as well as multiple invention patents. In 2023, Zhuoshiyou's headquarters, research and development, and production base will settle in the Wenzhou Medical Equipment Headquarters Park of China Gene Medicine Valley, mainly engaged in the research and development and production of domestic dental implant systems, surgical tools and instruments, advanced biomaterials, and comprehensive digital implant solutions.
Medical devices in our country are divided into three levels based on their risk levels: Class 1, Class 2, and Class 3. Among them, Class 3 medical devices are the highest risk level medical devices, and their safety and effectiveness must be strictly controlled. In November last year, the "Implant Dental Implant" project developed by Zhuoshiyou obtained the "first registration (non exempted) of implantable Class III medical devices" in Wenzhou, filling the gap in local production of implantable medical devices.
The structural components of dental implants are divided into implants, abutments, and crowns. The abutment is an auxiliary tool for implants in dental restoration surgery, which has the functions of fixation and stability. Zhuo Shiyou has improved the precision milling and machining process of titanium based materials, resulting in lower machining accuracy of the target implant compared to current market products, and stronger dynamic fatigue strength and torsional strength; By studying material modification strategies, designing ideal implant structures, and combining special surface treatment methods to achieve high survival rates and aesthetic repair requirements, the surface roughness of the target implant is reduced and exhibits superhydrophilic properties.
We rely on the Zhuoshiyou China Gene Medicine Valley R&D Center and multiple domestic universities to establish a sound mechanism for industry, academia, and research adaptation, and have made significant breakthroughs in various new technologies, solutions, and key research processes. Key technical indicators of our abutment products have reached the international advanced level, breaking the monopoly of foreign brands, replacing imported domestic products, and filling the gap in the high-end dental implant field in China. "Zhuoshiyou Chairman Yu Mingliang introduced that the company is currently developing and producing 8 medical device pipelines, including 2 approvals for implantable Class III medical devices, 4 in clinical research and development, and 2 in preclinical research and development. Two dental implant types of medical devices, including "personalized abutments and screws" and "personalized abutments and accessories," have been registered and produced. The third Class III dental implant device, "dental implant system," will be approved in August.
